God is our help in times of trouble. He is our rock. He is our hope. The Lord is our comfort, our friend, and our salvation.
I know in the depth of my heart that God has done a marvelous work. The journey Nathan was on did a work in him that only God can do. And the work he has done in me has changed me forever. I know I can trust God. I know I can rest in His love. I know I can call upon Him and he will answer me. I can cry unto Him and he will hear.
I will have this experience to remember all the rest of my life. I KNOW God can be TRUSTED.
"For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard." Psalm 22:24

God has answered many prayers
Dear Friends,
Four days ago, Nathan was located in Oregon. He was "camping" on private property with a group of people. He may have been coming back from a "Rainbow Gathering" up in WA state. But that has not been confirmed.
I have found out much information from my trip to Santa Cruz. There is still a great possibility that he has joned a cult, from all that was told me by some of his friends.
Please pray that we find him soon. The sooner he gets intervention the better. His family is very releaved to hear that he was located. It was a few days ago and so he could still be in the area, or he is coming back to CA. We do not know.
Now for prayer as to what I do next. We praise the Lord that Nathan does not seem to be hurt. Please continue to pray. I am asking for guidance from above as to what my next step should be.

Psalm 31
My prayer today is for Nathan to realize what day it is. Aug.3 is his mother's birthday. I would always hear from him on my birthday and he most always gave me a gift. The best gift I could get today would be a phone call.
Dear Lord, You know where Nathan is. You know what he is thinking, doing and struggling with. Help him today to think clearly, look at his life and realize all men are sinners, even in a cult that may be professing love and peace. We all hurt each other and say things we shouldn't say, our hearts are very wicked. It is only because of you Lord and what you did for us on the cross that we have the ability to change and confess our sin and repent. You alone take our hearts of stone and give us a heart of flesh. A cult thinks they love you, they think they are doing the right things, but they are not and do not know you. So their sin will be present and their ability to forsake their sin and live a life of love, is impossible. Without you we cannot live a repentant life. May Nathan see the truth as he interacts with people that do not know you and may life of sin be a darkness that Nathan sees and wants to run from.
Psalm 31:4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength. 7 I will be glad and rejoice in they mercy; for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 and hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room. 9 Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly. 14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God. 15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
May Nathan pray this prayer and may he come to fear the Lord and desire to return to a life of serving the true and living God.

Please Pray for our Son
Psalm 29:4 the voice of the Lord is powerful, the voice of the Lord is full of majesty! When I was reading this psalm this moring the thunder and lightening was shaking the house.
Psalm 29:11 - The Lord will give strength unto his people, the Lord will bless his people with peace.
Thank you Lord for the peace you give your people. Nathan is one of your people. Give him your peace, but also give him the strength to fight against anything that is not the truth of your scriptures. Help him to run to you and run from the enemy the devil and the devil's workers. Make a way of escape for him today, show him Your paths and guide him.
Psalm 30: has been a wonderful hope in the Lord to me. David wrote this because God gave him deliverance, and as an encouragement to Praise God.
Dear Lord I pray to you on behalf of my son. Please give him deliverance, have mercy upon him, heal him, may your favor give Nathan the courage and strength to get out of any powers that might be holding him. Have mercy on Nathan and help him. May we hear soon that you have delivered him. May he then sing praises to you and give thanks unto your forever.
There are many possibilities that could have happened to Nathan. The thoughts haunt me. A cult comes to our mind because he was struggling with his life. I don't believe he was suicidal, but I do believe he desired to make a difference with his life. He mentioned this to me. He wanted to play his music for God's glory.
Our last conversation was on July 1. I was to go visit Nathan in Santa Cruz. He had text messaged me that he was going on a road trip for 3 days and would come back and he would see me at the end of my visit. I thought perhaps he needed more time and said that I could wait to come visit. He really sounded relieved to hear that I wouldn't be coming. But that was the last I ever talked to him. As it turns out his aunt said he was around for a few more days after I cancelled my trip. So was Nathan lying to me? What happened that he never contacted anyone again? His car was found near his Grandma's house and it is waiting to be towed away. He had put some of his most precious posessions into Grandma's house when he moved out of the house he was living in. His piano keyboard, guitar, amp, some books etc. No clothes, or shoes, were left.
If you have a mind and heart to pray please pray:
Nathan is convicted to contact his family.
If he is in a cult, that the cult loses interest in Nathan and he loses interest in the cult and its ways and life style.
Pray as people are traveling anywhere in the US or over seas, they would keep an eye out for Nathan.
Many interested, praying believers would view this blog and keep Nathan in their prayers.
His friends he once had on FB, and in Santa Cruz would hold clues as to where Nathan is.
Safe travel as I travel to Santa Cruz to find clues.
If Nathan is not in a cult, that we find out where he is.
May we trust God for Nathan and know that even though we do not see Nathan, God sees him and will guide him and help him return to us in God's time.
